Chamber Board Elects 2007 Officers

Jim Parrish, Parrish Hotel Corporation, has been elected 2007 Chamber Chairman of the Board.  He has held the position of chairman-elect during 2006, and chaired the Chamber’s 2006 Inter-City Visit to Little Rock, Arkansas.  

Carl Koupal, president/CEO of Community National Bank, was elected chairman-elect and Rick Wienckowski, vice president/CFO for Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Inc., was re-elected treasurer. 

Parrish served on the Chamber’s board for three years and was named the Chamber volunteer of the year for 2004 in recognition of his leadership of the ½ cent sales tax for economic development campaign. 

Koupal has served as board chairman of GO Topeka during 2005 and 2006 and has been an active member of the Chamber for many years.
