Mulvane Art Museum

The Mulvane Art Museum opened in 1924 and is the oldest accredited art museum west of the Mississippi River. The museum's permanent collection is national and international in scope and is also well represented with Kansas and regional artists.

The newly-renovated museum features 5,000 square feet of exhibition space on two floors and the "ArtLab: Look, Create, Understand" education facility, a hands-on activity center for all ages. 

The Mulvane Art Museum is located on the Washburn University campus at 17th and Jewell Streets, south of White Concert Hall. 

The Mulvane is open 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday.  The museum is closed Sunday through Tuesday and on major holidays, Thanksgiving weekend and mid-December through mid-January.
